Study SEMH at Masters Level

Our distance education courses have been running for a number of years. They are distance learning programmes but with an optional introductory residential weekend. Hundreds of students have benefited from them from a wide range of professions such as:

  • Teachers and SENCO's from special schools, PRUs, LSUs and mainstream settings
  • Teaching Assistants
  • Learning Mentors
  • Social Workers
  • Educational Psychologists
  • Other professionals working with young people.

Do you wish to develop your professional knowledge and understanding around SEMH Difficulties at Masters Level? SEBDA, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, offers two distance learning Post Graduate qualifications at Masters level that focus on social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

I would just like to say a very big thank you for running such an excellent, well managed and highly relevant course.   GZ, Year 1 student

Last week I secured a post in a special provision for students with SEMH ... thanks to the work I have completed on this course and during Year 1, the feedback I have had and the ideas everyone has shared, I was confident in interview.       VW, Year 2 student

The timetable and structured activiteis each fortnight enabled me to manage the workload, on top of working full time.      Year 1 student.
