The Journal

The four strands of work undertaken by SEBDA include:

  • SEBDA’s EBD journal: SEBDA publishes the internationally recognised journal ‘Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties’ four times a year. This is free to all members 
  • SEBDA Campaigning: SEBDA links with the DFE, nasen, Council for Disabled Children, ENSEC and other organisations to influence and inform policy nationally and internationally SEBDA campaigns for better services for children and young people experiencing SEMH difficulties and better support for those who work with them. 
  • SEBDA Research: SEBDA aims to contribute to, lead and share evidence based practice. 
  • SEBDA Professional Development: SEBDA delivers effective and relevant professional development including national conferences, CPD and Masters level training courses.
